This event will be for all age groups and anyone ready to get outdoors with fellow trail lovers and to absorb the beauty Papago Park has to offer. That’s right- beautiful trails right in your very own city! All you need is water, tennis shoes and some sunscreen!
When: Saturday- August 27th, 2016
Time: 7AM PST- Timing on the duration will be up to our pace and rest at the amazing view point – Estimated time from car to trail to car about an hour.
Difficulty: Easy- Trail Experience Required: None
Gear Required: None
Who: Anyone who would like to get out for an hour or so and enjoy Mother Nature. This will not be a strenuous trail that will require climbing or boulder hopping. It will be a stroll in on mostly dirt trails that are safe for every age.
Trail Description: The level of the trail is considered easy. It will be on sturdy dirt trails with minor loose gravel in spots. You will be able to enjoy Sonoran Desert Plants with some beautiful city views. The elevation gain is very minor (200 feet) and only for a short distance.
